Puddle flange is used to prevent the penetration of water, along external pipe surfaces, of pipes that pass through different kinds of structures made of concrete, such as floor slabs, manhole chambers, tanks, basements, shafts, etc. Puddle flanges are installed during the process of construction and they are a very effective way of sealing the area around the outside of the pipes that pass through different kinds of structures made from concrete.
